  • Final Reading: An Ordinance to Amend the Town’s Zoning and Land Disturbance Ordinance, Article 3, General Provisions and Interpretations, Article 5, District Regulations, Article 7, Screening and Buffering, Article 8, Off Street Parking, Article 10, Land Development Approvals, Article 11, Land Development Design and Improvement Standards, Article 12, Administration and Enforcement, and Article 14, Definitions and Interpretation (Draft Amendments)  
  • Final Reading: An Ordinance to Amend the Town’s Business License Ordinance to Adopt the Latest Standardized Business License Class Schedule as Required by the Standardization Act (Attachment 6)
  • Final Reading: An Ordinance Regulating the Use of Fireworks Within the Corporate Limits of the Town (Attachment 7)

  • Discussion of next steps regarding SCDOT request for stop light at Highway 17 and Highway 45 intersection. (Attachment 8)

New Business

  • Discussion and potential approval of appointments for Leigh Scott (Attachment) and Bob Dunn (Attachment)  to the Architectural Review Board
  • Consideration of a Grant Resolution for the Municipal Association of SC IMPACT Fund Grant (Attachment 10)
  • Consideration of a Grant Resolution for a Stabilization Grant from the Historic Preservation Sate Grant Fund’s (Attachment 11)
  •  Consider accepting Capela Coe Architects’ proposal for design fees related to IMPACT Fund and SCADH Stabilization Grant, as discussed in executive session on August 25, 2025.
  • Consideration of Bids for Tree Inventory and Vegetation Review

  • Executive Session: Pursuant to SC Code Section 30-4-70(a)(1) Council will meet in executive session to discuss a proposed contractual arrangement regarding the McClellanville Community Center
  • Return to Public Session. Upon returning to public session, Council may act on matters discussed in executive session.
