Cancellation Notice ~ Members Appreciation Oyster Roast~~Our Oyster Roast, which was was scheduled for tomorrow evening, November 6th, 2021, has been cancelled.You may recall that last year our Member’s Appreciation Oyster Roast was stolen from us due to Covid-19; and was cancelled.Now it appears that Mother Nature has similar plans. The weather forecast for this weekend- strong winds and heavy rain with accumulation from 2 to 4 inches, has resulted in our Museum Board cancelling this year’s event. Our hearts are heavy. This event is our way to thank our Members for all of their time, money, and support, and having to cancel it was not a decision made in haste. While we will surely miss seeing y’all and hearing your news, it’s out of concern for the safety of our Members, both here and on the roadways, that the Board decided on cancelling the event.Wishing each and every one a safe, happy, and blessed holiday season
