Public Hearing

The Town of McClellanville Town Council will hold a joint public hearing with the Planning Commission on Monday, August 25 at 6:00 PM at Town Hall, 405 Pinckney Street, McClellanville, SC. 

The hearing will gather public input on An Ordinance to Amend the Town’s Zoning and Land Disturbance Ordinance  , specifically updates to the following Articles:

• Article 3 – General Provisions and Interpretations
• Article 5 – District Regulations
• Article 7 – Screening and Buffering
• Article 8 – Off-Street Parking
• Article 10 – Land Development Approvals
• Article 11 – Land Development Design and Improvement Standards
• Article 12 – Administration and Enforcement
• Article 14 – Definitions and Interpretation

Town Council will also hold separate Public Hearings the same evening on two additional items:

• Amendments to the Business License Ordinance adopting the latest standardized class schedule – HERE
• Amendments to the Town’s Fireworks Regulation Ordinance to prohibit the use of fireworks on public property within the town limits – HERE
