The McClellanville Town Council will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Town Hall, 405 Pinckney Street. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input on a proposed ordinance to amend Chapter 4 Article III of the McClellanville Code of Ordinances Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance to adopt by reference Charleston County’s Flood Damage Prevention and Protection Ordinance 2245, as revised with certain exceptions in order to update the ordinance for the management of flood hazard areas.

The public is encouraged to attend. Any interested party may be heard either orally or in writing at the public hearing. For further information please call the town office at (843) 887-3712.
