McClellanville Architectural Review Board Meeting May 16, 2021

The purpose of the McClellanville Architectural Review Board is to ensure that the historic integrity of significant or contributing properties is preserved so that the integrity of the village’s historic character is not compromised.

  1. Approve meeting minutes from April 20, 2021.
  2. ARB consideration of Jacqueline Mercer.  This application is for consideration of roof replacement from shingles to metal. To add roof over part of current side porch of home.  The property is at 226 Cassena Street and is in the Historic District. See Attachment
  3. ARB consideration of Parker Family Properties. This application is for consideration to demo existing wood frame of the 12×20 structure down to slab. Extend concrete slab to accommodate new CMU structure. Build a 14×24 CMU addition attaching to existing CMU building. Add screen porch to front and side of building (approximately 1000 square feet).  Add front door to front of building. Add stucco finish to CMU block. Add galvalume roof for screen porch and CMU addition.  The property is at 826 Pinckney Street and is in the Village Commercial District. See attachment
  4. ARB consideration of Chris Tweedy.  This application is for consideration of natural fence to run inside tree line at rear of property and extend across middle of property.  Metal gate installed at driveway. The property is at 969 Pinckney and is in the Historic District. See attachment
